There should be a banner ad above that has at the very top a java menu that says, "Free Web Site, Freebie Directory, Submit Your Site, and Log In." That menu is always there on the banner option. The banner ads themselves vary widely because there are hundreds of advertisers on the network. Sometimes there are php and cgi scripts that sprawl across the entire width of the top of the page. Usually there are normal size banners. Every once in a while some creep throws in a couple of banners so that it takes up more room at the top of the page than it should, but that isn't very common.
